What are a HMOs?

Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMOs) are a group of complex sugars found  in mother's milk.

They are the third most abundant component in breast milk, following lactose (ranked 1st) and fats (ranked 2nd).

Over 150 types of HMOs have been identified, with 2'-Fucosyllactose (2’-FL)  being the most common.
